Alpine

Alpine is a home shaped by its environment—both sculpted by the land and seamlessly woven into it. Perched in the Hudson Valley, its design embraces the rugged terrain, floating above the forest floor to preserve the landscape. Expanses of glass dissolve boundaries between interior and exterior, framing panoramic valley views while allowing light to shift and evolve throughout the day.

Inspired by the raw beauty of its setting, Alpine is crafted from a palette of concrete, steel, glass, and wood—materials chosen for both their permanence and natural harmony. The home’s street-facing façade is intentionally opaque, ensuring privacy, while the rear opens entirely to sweeping valley views. Designed to follow the land’s natural contours, a central stairwell doubles as a vertical light well, drawing sunlight deep into the lower-level living spaces. A skylight above enhances this effect, creating an interplay of light and shadow that shifts throughout the day while maintaining a sense of seclusion within the primary living areas.

Wide open flow and the progression of increasing ceiling heights draws you into the spacious vaulted areas of the plan where fun and gathering occur with the view of the valley as an ever-present backdrop.

The lower level of the home presents entertainment on an entirely different scale with a game room, billiards, golf simulator, and full bar feeding out onto the pool terrace.  A home full of spaces where unforgettable memories are forged.
